The work on the ‘drop-in’ pitches in Perth for the first Test match between Pakistan and Australia has been completed.
These 5 drop-in pitches also use waka ground grass and clay and one drop-in pitch weighs around 25 tonnes and takes 2 days to install.
The first Test match of the series between Pakistan and Australia will be played in Perth from December 14 to 18 and this first Test match of the series has been named the West Test.
The second Test between Pakistan and Australia will be played in Melbourne from December 26 to 30, while the third and final Test is scheduled in Sydney from January 3 to 7.
