The project of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Institute of Child Health Children’s Hospital has been put on hold.
Children’s treatment at the hospital has been delayed for several years while parents are forced to take their children to other cities for treatment.
Director of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Institute of Child Health, Dr. Inayat-ur-Rehman while talking to Geo News said that full funds were not received on time to complete the Children’s Hospital project.
Dr. Inayat says that the total cost of the project is 7 billion 90 crore rupees, funds of 3 billion 10 crore rupees have been received so far.
He said that 1 billion 50 crore rupees have been allocated this year, if these funds are available, the completion of the project will be possible.
