Challans of over 19,000 underage drivers for driving vehicles/motorcycles without license during a week
Punjab Police is cracking down on under age drivers driving vehicles and bikes without license.
According to the spokesperson of Punjab Police, during the last one week, more than 19,000 under-age drivers were issued challans for driving vehicles/motorcycles without license across the province including Lahore.
This year, more than 81,000 challans were issued for underage drivers in all the districts of the province. More than 2100 cases have been registered against underage drivers in all the districts of the province. 3500 motorcycles/vehicles were impounded in police stations.
IG Punjab has ordered RPOs, DPOs, District Traffic Police Officers to crackdown without discrimination and said that under age drivers driving vehicles and motorcycles do not deserve any concession.
