The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has appointed former Test cricketer Sohail Tanveer, who was part of the 2009 T20 World Cup winning team, as the head of the national junior selection committee.
Sohail Tanveer started his international career in 2007. He represented Pakistan in 2 Tests, 62 One Day Internationals and 57 T20 Internationals, taking a total of 130 wickets and scoring 612 runs in all three formats.
Sohail Tanveer’s first assignment will be the selection of the Pakistan U-19 team for the ACC U-19 Asia Cup which will be held in the United Arab Emirates from December 8 to 17, followed by the Pakistan U-19 team in Sri Lanka from January 13 to February 4. CC will participate in the U-19 World Cup.
