Shaheen Shah Afridi, the new captain of the Pakistan T20 team, called the leadership of the team a source of pride.
Posting on social networking site X (formerly Twitter), he expressed his happiness and wrote that leading the Pakistan T20 team is a matter of pride for me and I am excited.
Expressing his gratitude for getting the leadership of the team, he said that he is thankful for the trust and support of the Pakistan Cricket Board and the fans.
Shaheen Shah Afridi while reiterating the commitment also wrote that I will try my best to maintain the team spirit and bring glory to the nation. Our success lies in unity, trust and tireless work. We are not just a team. We are like a family and we will all move forward together.
