Pakistan cricket team batsman Babar Azam has resigned from the captaincy of the Tani format.
In his social media message, Babar Azam said that he is resigning from the captaincy of all formats, he will continue to perform as a player in all three formats.
The former captain said that under my captaincy the team got the first ranking in ODI, I will fully support the new captain of the team.
Babar Azam added that he is grateful to the board for giving him the opportunity to lead the Pakistan team, as a player he will be available to the team for all three formats.
He said that the decision to leave the captaincy was difficult, but this is the decision time, I will support the new captain based on my experience.
