In the last 24 hours, 13 new cases of malaria have been reported in Karachi.
According to the spokesperson of Sindh Health Department, 8 cases of malaria have been reported from Malir district, 2 from Korangi district, 1 from South, East and West districts.
The spokesman of the Sindh Health Department says that 2282 cases of malaria have been reported in Sindh in the last 24 hours, while 2 people have died of malaria in Sindh this year.
Dengue virus situation in Sindh
On the other hand, 10 new cases of dengue have been reported in Karachi and 4 new cases from Hyderabad division.
According to the Sindh Health Department spokesman, 5 cases of dengue have been reported from Karachi’s East District, 3 from South District, 1 from Korangi District and 1 from Central District.
A total of 139 cases of dengue have been reported in Karachi this month, while a total of 246 cases have been reported in Sindh, 4 cases of dengue have been reported from Mirpurkhas.
According to the spokesperson of the Sindh Health Department, 18 cases of dengue were reported in Sindh on November 13.
Punjab: Total 160 dengue patients under treatment
According to Punjab Health Department, during the last 24 hours, 181 new patients of dengue virus have been confirmed in Punjab.
This year, 12 thousand 45 confirmed cases of dengue have been reported in 36 districts of Punjab.
A total of 160 dengue patients are currently under treatment in hospitals across the province.
