On the other hand, Deputy Director of Lahore Safari Zoo, Ghulam Rasool, told The Express Tribune that 12 African tigers, two Bengal tigers, one crocodile, five Nile cows, 40 Mufflin sheep, five monkeys, one oryx, two chinkara deer, 12 hog deer were recovered from the safari park. Senior Veterinary Officer Dr. Rizwan Khan, a member of the Animal Shifting Committee formed by Punjab Wildlife, said that three methods are being used for the safe transfer of wild animals.

The first method is that the animals, especially tigers, tigers, leopards, cheetahs and other animals of this species, are placed in a box next to the cage door and the animal is moved into it.

Boma technique is used for translocation of deer. In this, these animals are gathered in a corner with the help of a bamboo, net or big cloth and then they are caught and transferred to boxes.

However, the larger species of deer, including the Nile cow, are difficult to capture, so they are stunned with the help of a dot gun.

Rizwan Khan said that the use of dot gun is a very skillful task, the dose of anesthetic is taken according to the health and age of the animal. Then a specific body massage is applied.

He said that for the first time in Pakistan such a large number of wild animals have been transferred from one place to another.
