One more person died from Negleria in Karachi, the deceased was a resident of Gulshan Mimar.
According to the spokesperson of the Sindh Health Department, the 38-year-old victim was complaining of fever, headache and vomiting since November 7.
According to the spokesperson, the person who died from Naegleria stayed at home and used medicines till November 8. On November 9, he was brought to the emergency department of a private hospital after his condition worsened.
The spokesman further said that 12 people have died of Nigellaria in Sindh so far, of which 11 were from Karachi.
The spokesman says that to prevent Nigellaria, be careful in putting water in the nose, use chlorine in water according to the guidelines of medical experts and WHO.
