Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has accepted the resignation of Inzamam-ul-Haq.
According to sources, former chief selector Inzamam-ul-Haq had spoken against the cricket board rules in a TV program.
The Pakistan Cricket Board will continue its investigation into Inzamam-ul-Haq.
The former chief selector had said in a TV interview that he no longer wanted to work with the PCB.
Sources also say that the Pakistan Cricket Board is very unhappy with his behavior.
Sources further say that after the resignation of Inzamam-ul-Haq, it is difficult to maintain the selection committee.
Inzamam-ul-Haq, during a conversation in Geo News’ program Capital Talk, said that the allegations were made during the World Cup, but the board is not calling for an inquiry now, nor is it contacting or responding to emails, nor the board. It tells what is being enquired.
He further said that it was also learned from TV that PCB did not accept my resignation, Zaka Ashraf is trying to put his responsibility on others.
In response to the interview, PCB had taken the stand that Inzamam-ul-Haq’s email was received yesterday, and will definitely respond.
According to the PCB statement, there is an investigation into the conflict of interest and Inzamam-ul-Haq is aware of this. After all the investigations are completed, Inzamam will be informed and he will be called.
