Okara: As a result of brutal violence on a pregnant woman by influential people in Punjab’s Okara district, the child died in the womb.
According to details, a 7-month pregnant woman was brutally tortured by influential people in Rinala Khurd area of Okara district in the north-east of Punjab, as a result of which she became unconscious.
The woman was taken to the hospital in a critical condition, so the doctors immediately suggested an operation to save the newborn’s life, but it was not possible because the newborn died in the mother’s womb due to violence.
The victim’s family has claimed that the lady doctor posted at the RHC refused to give a medical report on the orders of influential people, while the local police station Sadar Renala also did not take any action.
The victim woman has taken notice of the incident from IG Punjab and demanded legal action against the accused.
