Lahore: Due to inflation in Pakistan, India has opened a store on the Kartarpur Corridor for its pilgrims.
For the convenience of pilgrims coming from Kartarpur Corridor to Gurudwara Sri Darbar Sahib, Kartarpur, the Government of India has opened a special store in its area. Due to inflation in Pakistan, Indian pilgrims will be able to buy vegetables, rice, spices and other items for religious rituals from this store to contribute to the langar.
A pilgrim will be allowed to buy only up to 7 kg of goods from the store opened by the Indian central government. Sukhwinder Singh Rajinder Singh, who opened the store, told Express that the store currently has tomatoes, green chillies, ginger, garlic, onions, pulses, oil, desi ghee, flour, rice and other items besides handkerchiefs, combs, bangles, sabers. etc. are kept.
He said that earlier after entering the path, the devotees did not get anything to take to the Guru Ghar. Pilgrims used to buy goods from their own cities and bring them with them or after reaching Pakistan they used to buy these goods from the shops built in the premises of Guru Dwara Sahib. Due to high inflation in Pakistan, pilgrims had to buy langar supplies at a high cost, but now with the opening of this store, devotees can take home langar supplies and other items.
