The investigation committee has started work on the resignation and investigation of the former chief selector of the Pakistan cricket team, Inzamam-ul-Haq.
According to sources, the Pakistan Cricket Board is keen to complete the investigation soon and the investigation committee is likely to complete the investigation within a week.
In this regard, the sources say that after completing the investigation, the committee will submit its report and recommendations to the chairman of the management committee, Zaka Ashraf.
According to sources, the committee includes Colonel Khalid, Colonel Akhtar of Anti-Corruption and Vigilance Unit, Director Media Alia Rashid, representatives of Legal Department and Auditor Finance.
It should be noted that the PCB had formed a 5-member committee regarding the team selection process and conflict of interest.
It may be recalled that the issue of Inzamam-ul-Haq being a shareholder with a company had come up and before the committee was formed on the matter, Inzamam-ul-Haq had resigned from the post of Chief Selector.
