Lahore: Accountability Court Lahore has approved the interim bail of former Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar till February 27 in the assets in excess of income inquiry.
The court has restrained NAB from arrest till February 27 and has ordered an investigation involving Usman Bazar, while it has asked for a report from NAB officials on the next hearing.
Former Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar filed interim bail this morning in which Usman Buzdar took the stand that earlier NAB had said that Usman Buzdar’s arrest was not required and now it has sent a notice.
Usman Buzdar pleaded that NAB has sent me a call-up notice on which there is a fear of arrest, so interim bail should be granted.
Accountability Court Administrator Judge Uzma Akhtar Chaghatai heard the application. It should be noted that NAB Lahore had ordered Usman Buzdar to appear today on other charges including corruption.
