During the last 24 hours in Rawalpindi, dengue virus was confirmed in 21 more people.
The number of confirmed cases of dengue this season has reached 2262.
According to the health department, 51 dengue patients are under treatment at Holy Family Hospital, 16 at DHQ Hospital, and 3 at Wah General Hospital.
The health department said that the condition of one person infected with dengue virus is critical.
On the other hand, according to the district administration, 12 more cases have been registered for violation of dengue SOPs, 12 challan tickets have been issued and a fine of 1 lakh 11 thousand 500 rupees has been imposed.
The district administration has informed that so far a total of 4275 cases have been registered, 631 buildings have been sealed, 1267 challan tickets have been issued, and a fine of 92 lakh 90 thousand 304 rupees has been imposed.
