Secretary Health says that dengue has been confirmed in 203 new patients in Punjab.
According to the provincial health department, 8 thousand 726 cases of dengue have been reported in Punjab this year.
Ali Jan Khan says that yesterday 89 patients were reported in Lahore, 32 in Gujranwala, 30 in Rawalpindi and 25 in Multan.
He said that yesterday 12 dengue patients were reported in Faisalabad, 4 in Kasur, 2 each in Sheikhupura and Hafizabad.
Apart from this, one new case of dengue has been reported in Attock, Khanewal, Chakwal, Bahawalpur, Nankana Sahib, Toba Tek Singh and Leh.
According to Ali Jan Khan, a total of 169 dengue patients are currently under treatment in hospitals across Punjab.
