Karachi Whites won the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy by defeating Faisalabad by 456 runs in the final. Saeem Ayub was named Man of the Final while Sarfraz Ahmed was named Player of the Tournament.
On the last day of the final played at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore, Faisalabad started the second innings with 129 runs and 6 out. Captain Faheem Ashraf resisted and completed a century.
Faheem Ashraf scored 147 runs with the help of 23 fours and 2 sixes. Chasing a target of 790 runs, the Faisalabad team was bowled out for 333 runs.
Ghulam Mudassar took three wickets for Karachi Whites.
Saim Ayub, who scored a double century in the first innings of the final and a century in the second innings, was declared the player of the match, while captain Sarfraz Ahmed was declared the player of the tournament.
Sarfraz scored a total of 697 runs in the event, besides taking one stump and 27 catches.
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Management Committee Chairman Zaka Ashraf distributed the prizes.
