Pakistan Women A defeated West Indies Women A by 8 runs in the first ODI of the three-match ODI series.
In the first ODI of the series played at the Ghani Institute Cricket Ground, Lahore, West Indies Women A won the toss and put Pakistan Women A Cricket Team into bat first.
The host team was bowled out for 174 runs in 49.2 overs. Gul Feroza scored 62 runs with the help of four fours, Shawal Zulfiqar scored 17, Sudra Nawaz and Tobia Hassan scored 9 and 9 runs respectively.
Cherry Ann Fraser struck out three and Zaida James struck out two.
In reply, West Indies Women’s A team were bowled out for 166 runs, Shabika Gajjanbi scored 29 runs and captain Rashada Williams scored 27 runs.
Anusha Nasir, Ramin Shamim and Saima Malik dismissed two players each.
