Former Indian Test cricketer Bishan Singh Bedi passed away at the age of 77 after prolonged illness.
Left arm spin bowler Bishan Singh Bedi represented India in 67 Test matches and took 266 wickets, he also captained the Indian team in 22 matches including 10 ODI matches.
The former Indian captain dismissed 7 players in 10 ODI matches.
Bishan Singh Bedi was part of the Indian team in the inaugural World Cup in 1975. He also led the Indian team that toured Pakistan in 1978.
