Lahore: The father who killed four children and threw their bodies in the canal was killed by his own comrades in an alleged police encounter.
A few days ago, after killing the children, the accused Muhammad Azim threw their bodies in the canal of Suay Asal, the bodies of three children were recovered from the canal.
According to the in-charge investigation priest Muhammad Asghar Bhatti, the police had taken the accused Muhammad Azim to search for the dead body of the fourth child when two of the accused’s associates opened fire on the police party in the area of the priest.
Meanwhile, the accused Azim was killed by his own accomplices while his accomplices managed to escape from the spot.
