Lahore: Petitions against the decision of the Chairman PTI to reject bail have been fixed for hearing in the Lahore High Court.
Petitions against the decision to reject interim bails of Chairman PTI Imran Khan in 7 different cases including the Jinnah House attack case have been fixed for hearing. A 2-member bench headed by Justice Alia Neelam of Lahore High Court will hear the petitions of Chairman PTI today.
In the petition, the Superintendent of Attock Jail and others have been made parties. Chairman PTI challenged the bails through the mediation of Barrister Salman Safdar Advocate. It has been argued in the petition that the petitioner is being subjected to political revenge. The petitioner was sentenced against the facts in the Tosha Khana case on August 5. Immediately after the sentence, the police arrested the petitioner.
The Lahore High Court has been requested to order the court to hear the bails on the basis of merit.
It should be noted that the Terrorism Court rejected the bails of Chairman PTI in the 9th and May cases.
