Lahore: Lahore traffic police stopped more than 13 hundred motorcycles and vehicles for violating one way.

According to the Lahore Police, on the special instructions of the Chief Minister of Punjab, the crackdown is ongoing against those who violate one-way traffic, in which more than 13 hundred motorcycles, vehicles and rickshaws were stopped in police stations during two days.

CTO Lahore Mustansar Feroze says that traffic and district police personnel have been deployed at 128 one-way points, now the vehicle and motorcycle will be stopped with a fine of Rs. A case will also be registered against the driver for the violation and the owner will have to approach the court for the custody of the vehicle stopped for violating the one-way.

CTO Lahore said that this year action was taken against 57 thousand 431 vehicles for violation of one way traffic. In addition, one-way traffic violation also leads to traffic disruption.
