According to Indian media reports, Ahmedabad’s crime branch has arrested a man from Rajkot who allegedly sent threatening emails related to the blast at the Narendra Modi Stadium on October 14.
According to a statement issued by the Ahmedabad Crime Branch, the accused arrested for sending threatening emails to BCCI has been identified as Kiran Mavi.
According to media sources, Crime Branch says that the arrested accused Kiran Mavi is a resident of Dhar district of Madhya Pradesh, he was arrested under section 505 (1) B and 506 (2) of the Indian Penal Code.
According to the Crime Branch, the arrested person was previously arrested in 2018 on charges of rape and human trafficking.
