Lahore: NAB arrested the fugitive main accused Zakir Hussain while making significant progress in the Rs 1 billion 37 crore corruption scandal.
According to the details released by NAB Lahore, the accused Zakir Hussain is accused of transferring 250 kanals of land to himself and anonymous people with the connivance of the Finance Department employees. These hundreds of kanals of valuable land were adjacent to the famous housing society. .
According to NAB, the accused Zakir Hussain has been found involved in taking undue advantage of his appointment in the Revenue Department and preparing fake documents. The accused kept transferring hundreds of kanals of land belonging to ordinary citizens to his name and names of anonymous people through fake documents.
The accused continued to use fake fingerprints and fake identity in preparation of fake documents, the accused had sold 170 kanals of the 250 kanals of land grabbed through fake documents.
In the NAB investigation, it has been revealed that 80 kanals of land are still available in the name of the accused.
