Lahore: Tehreek-e-Insaf approached the Lahore High Court for permission to hold the rally.
In the petition filed by PTI Additional Secretary Azimullah Khan, the Lahore High Court has been requested to allow the rally to be held at Liberty Chowk in Lahore.
The petitioner has taken the stand that 5 days ago he applied to the concerned parties for the permission of the meeting. Peaceful assembly is everyone’s constitutional right. The court ordered to hold a rally on October 15 at Liberty Chowk and provide security for the rally.
DC Lahore and others have been made parties in the petition. The application could not be heard due to Justice Raheel Kamran being on leave.
