The third case of polio has been reported in Pakistan this year.
A girl has been infected with polio in Ghoda Baka Khel Union Council of Bannu District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province.
According to the federal authorities, the one and a half year old girl was disabled as a result of the polio virus attack.
So far the number of children affected by polio in Pakistan has increased to 3, these three children affected by polio are residents of Bannu district.
Once again the presence of polio virus has been confirmed in the environmental sample of Bannu district.
It should be noted that polio virus has been confirmed in 34 environmental samples in Pakistan so far.
