155 new cases of dengue have been confirmed in Punjab in the last 24 hours.
According to Secretary Health Ali Jan Khan, 4 thousand 831 confirmed cases of dengue have been reported in 36 districts of Punjab this year and 1 thousand 907 confirmed cases of dengue have been reported from Lahore alone.
He said that yesterday there were 58 dengue cases in Lahore, 50 in Rawalpindi, 17 in Gujranwala, 15 in Multan, 3 in Faisalabad, 2 in Attock and 2 each in Chakwal, while one each in Sheikhupura, Sialkot, Rahim Yar Khan, Chiniot and Okara. A case has been reported.
According to Secretary Health Ali Jan Khan, a total of 188 dengue patients are currently under treatment in hospitals across Punjab, while a total of 69 dengue patients are currently under treatment in Lahore hospitals.
