Bangladesh is facing its worst dengue epidemic, with official figures showing that the mosquito-borne disease has killed more than 1,000 people this year.
According to the data released by the Ministry of Health of Bangladesh, more than 2 lakh cases of dengue have been confirmed this year, while the deaths due to this disease have reached 1,066.
According to the Bangladeshi official, the number of deaths due to dengue this year is much higher than in previous years.
