PCB has increased the budget of Player Welfare Scheme by 10%

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has approved a 10% increase in the budget of the players’ welfare scheme for former cricketers.

The third meeting of the management committee of the Pakistan Cricket Board was held at the National Cricket Academy Lahore under the chairmanship of Chairman Zaka Ashraf. One of the 10 members of the committee, Mustafa Ramday, participated in the online meeting.

In the meeting, the members were also informed in detail about the central contracts given to the men’s cricketers.

The committee expressed its satisfaction and appreciated the efforts of Zaka Ashraf, whose personal interest led to an amicable settlement between the board and the players.

In the committee meeting, various issues including Asia Cup were discussed, the management committee approved to upgrade the National Cricket Academy, while the hybrid model of Asia Cup was discussed in the meeting.
