An Indian player died on the pitch due to cardiac arrest during a cricket match in Saudi Arabia.
According to the report of the Indian newspaper, the cricketer has been identified as Mohammad Atif Khan, who belongs to Murad Nagar area of the Indian city of Hyderabad.
Atif Khan, a 52-year-old from India, was batting during a match at the Rakha ground in Al-Khobar area, when he suddenly felt severe pain in his chest and fell on the pitch.
The player was immediately rushed to the hospital, but he did not survive.
The cricketer, a resident of the Indian city of Hyderabad, has left behind his wife and three children.
The doctor says that if CPR was given to the cricketer in time, Shahid’s life would have been saved.
