Australia announced their squad for ICC Cricket World Cup 2023. The Kangaroos will be led by Pete Cummins.
Other players include Sean Abbott, Alex Carey, Cameron Greene, Josh Hazlewood, Travis Head, Josh Ingles, Marence Labuchin, Mitchell Marsh and Glenn Maxwell.
Steve Smith, Mitchell Starc, Marcus Stoins, David Warner and Adam Zampa are also part of the Australia squad.
Marnes Labushin has been named in the squad in place of Ashton Agar, who has been ruled out of the event due to injury.
The Australian team will play the first warm-up match against the Netherlands on September 30.
Australia’s first match in the World Cup is scheduled against hosts India on October 8.
It should be noted that the Australian team will play against Pakistan on October 20 in Bangalore.
