Boxing event, Pakistan's Zohaib Rashid reached the quarter-finals

Pakistan’s Zohaib Rashid reached the quarter-finals in the men’s boxing event of the ongoing Asian Games in China.

Zohaib Rasheed defeated Sultan Noumi of United Arab Emirates (UAE) in the 51kg round of 16.

The Pakistani boxer easily defeated his Emirati opponent 0-5.

All the referees of the jury unanimously declared Zohaib Rashid the winner. Zohaib received a first-round bye in the 51kg draw.
