Caretaker Health Minister of Punjab Dr. Javed Akram says that injections affecting eyesight have been banned for an indefinite period.
Caretaker Minister for Primary Health Dr. Jamal Nasir says that three types of germs have been found in the said injection.
Caretaker Health Minister Dr. Javed Akram and Dr. Jamal Nasir addressed a joint press conference in Lahore.
On this occasion, Dr. Javed Akram said that a hospital has started trading by making injections, no one has advised the use for eyes.
He said that the approval of this injection was not taken from Drip, the concern letter of this experimental injection was not taken either.
Dr. Jamal Nasir said that the injection was perfectly fine, it was sold in syringes and carelessness in transportation, barring the private company as well as the private hospital from making the injection.
The health ministers said that they are collecting 5 years of data on the use of injections, and whoever is found guilty will be punished.
