In the last 24 hours in the city of Rawalpindi, Punjab, dengue virus has been confirmed in 42 more people.
According to the Health Department, the condition of 11 people infected with dengue virus is critical, while the number of confirmed dengue patients this season has reached 1046.
There are 46 dengue patients in Holy Family Hospital, 34 in DHQ and 29 in Benazir Bhutto Hospital.
On the other hand, the district administration says that 45 cases have been registered for violation of dengue SOPs while 2 buildings have been sealed.
According to the district administration, 12 challans and a fine of Rs 1 lakh 10 thousand have been imposed for violation of SOPs.
A total of 3290 cases have been registered so far while 552 buildings have been sealed.
According to the district administration, a total of 967 challans and a fine of Rs 54 lakh 30 thousand have been imposed so far this year.
