The swimming events at the Asian Games had a disappointing performance for Pakistani athletes, with none of the swimmers making it past the preliminary heats.
Fatima Lutia finished 27th out of 29 in the women’s 50m backstroke, clocking 35.38, 7.79 seconds behind the last swimmer to qualify.
In men’s 50m freestyle, Ahmed Durrani finished 35th and Hamza Anwar finished 38th.
In the women’s 200m freestyle, Araya finished 17th out of 23, where Araya finished 9 seconds behind the last swimmer to qualify.
In the men’s 100m breaststroke, Hamza Anwar finished 27th out of 28.
In the freestyle relay, the Pakistani team finished 12th out of 13.
