The International Cricket Council (ICC) is likely to issue Indian visas to the national cricket squad for the World Cup today.
According to the sources, the Indian Embassy will get the NOC from its Ministry of Home Affairs in this regard today, the visas will be issued as soon as the NOC is received.
Sources say that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) had contacted the ICC on the issue of visas, the International Cricket Council had directed the Indian board to issue the NOC soon.
The Board of Cricket in India (BCCI) has asked the Home Ministry to issue the NOC soon.
The national cricket squad will leave for Dubai Hyderabad Deccan on Wednesday morning.
It should be noted that Pakistan’s first warm-up match in the World Cup is scheduled against New Zealand on September 29.
