Vision of 40 diabetic patients affected by non-standard injection in Lahore

In Lahore, 40 diabetic patients’ vision has been affected by non-standard injections.

Ophthalmologist Dr. Asad Aslam says that fake injections affected the eye membranes of diabetic patients while 12 people lost their sight due to infection.

Dr. Asad Aslam said that these injections are prepared in thokar niaz bags, people’s eyes have been affected due to negligence in the preparation of injections. He said that due to non-standard injections, the patients’ eyes became infected.

Caretaker Health Minister Punjab Dr. Javed Akram says that the entire stock of non-standard injections has been removed from the market.
