In the South Asian Football Federation (SAF) Under-19 Championship 2023, Pakistan team reached the semi-finals.
In the ongoing event in Nepal, the match between Pakistan and Maldives was tied 1-1. With the match tied, the national under-19 team made it to the semi-finals of the championship.
Captain Shanan Rasheed scored the only goal for Maldives in the 39th minute while Pakistan’s Shah Jahan equalized the match.
It should be noted that the semi-final matches of the event will be held from September 27.
