The schedule of ICC U-19 Cricket World Cup has been announced.
The tournament will be held from January 13 to February 4 next year in Sri Lanka in which 16 teams will participate.
The first match of the Under-19 Cricket World Cup will be held on January 13 between the hosts Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe, while the defending champions India will face Bangladesh on January 14.
The format of the tournament has also been changed, with 16 teams divided into four groups.
The top 3 teams from each group will qualify for the Super Six stage and two groups of six teams will be drawn in the Super Six stage.
The U-19 Cricket World Cup group stage matches will be played from January 13 to 21, while the Super Six stage will be played from January 23 to 28.
The semi-finals of the U-19 Cricket World Cup will be held on January 30 and February 1, while the final will be held on February 4.
Pakistan is in Group D along with Afghanistan, New Zealand and Nepal.
Pakistan team will play against Afghanistan on January 15, Nepal on January 17 and New Zealand on January 21.
