Pakistan’s Zahid Iqbal reached the semi-finals in the rowing event of the Asian Games.
In men’s single skills, Zahid Iqbal finished third in his heat. The top three from each of the three heats in single skills advanced to the semi-finals.
Zahid Iqbal Khan covered the distance of 2000 meters in 7 minutes and 34.60 seconds.
In lightweight double skills, the Pakistani team could not reach the final, in double skills, the top pair of each heat qualified for the final.
In doubles, Asad Iqbal and Muzamil Shahzad qualified for the repechage by taking the third position in the heat.
In quadruple skills, Pakistan finished second in the heats. Pakistan will now play repechage round in quadruple as well.
