Pakistan defeated USA by one wicket in the Over 40 Global Cricket Cup tournament.

A brilliant last-minute batting by Fanwat Abbas saved Pakistan from a possible defeat. Pakistan achieved the target of 251 runs for 9 wickets in the 41st over.

Batting first, USA Veterans were bowled out for 250 runs in 44.3 overs in the first match of the Over 40 Global Cricket Cup played at the National Stadium.

In reply, four players of Pakistan were dismissed for 26 runs, after which captain Misbah-ul-Haq took over the team, he scored 64 runs, Tariq Haroon also scored 43 runs with him.
