5 Pakistani players were included in the auction of the second season of South Africa T20.
For the second season of South Africa T20, 122 players from 14 countries have registered themselves for the auction to be held on September 27.
Pakistan’s registered players for the event include fast Muhammad Naseem Shah, all-rounder Muhammad Nawaz, Osama Mir, batsman Shan Masood and spinner Usman Qadir.
The reserved price of Naseem Shah, Muhammad Nawaz and Shan Masood is 8.5 million South African Rand, which is 1.32 million rupees in Pakistani currency.
Osama Mir and Usman Qadir have been registered with a base price of 4 lakh rand, which translates to at least 6.6 lakh rupees in Pakistani currency.
Season 2 has former international cricketer Hamad Azam registered as an American player.
It should be remembered that last year Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) did not issue NOC to the players to join the auction.
Due to the Indian ownership of the teams in South Africa T20, the contract of Pakistan players is uncertain.
