Pakistan Women's team won the last ODI, series 1-2 against South Africa

Pakistan Women’s Cricket Team won the third and final One Day International against South Africa Women’s Team by 8 wickets. In this victory, the excellent performance of the bowlers and the half-centuries of Sidra Amin and Bisma Maruf are noteworthy.

This three-match series was won by South Africa by 2-1.

It should be remembered that earlier the Pakistan women’s team whitewashed the visiting team in the T20 series.

South Africa Women won the toss and batted first in the third one-day international match played at the National Bank Cricket Arena Karachi on Thursday and the entire team was bowled out for 185 runs in 48.1 overs.

In response, Pakistan Women achieved the target in 38 overs with the loss of only two wickets as a result of the responsible batting of Sidra Amin and Bisma Maruf.

Pakistan Women made three changes in this match. Umima Sohail, Diana Baig and Waheeda Akhtar were given a chance in place of Fatima Sana, Umm Hani and Sudra Nawaz. Waheeda Akhtar became the 90th Pakistani player to play in ODIs.

South Africa Women had to bear the loss of captain Laura Woffart in the first over of their innings, who was bowled by Sadia Iqbal for a wicket, after which the wickets of the visiting team continued to fall intermittently as a result of the excellent performance of the Pakistani bowlers.

Nedien de Klerk scored 60 runs with the help of three fours. This is his first half-century in ODIs.

Tezman Burts played an innings of 32 runs. For Pakistan Women, Sadia Iqbal, Nashera Sindhu and Nida Dar took two wickets each.

Pakistan Women’s openers Sidra Amin and Sadaf Shams opened with 39 runs. Sadaf Shams got out after scoring 13 runs. A 110-run second-wicket partnership between Sidra Amin and Bisma Maruf made Pakistan’s win possible.

Sidra Amin scored 68 runs with the help of 6 fours. Bisma Maruf scored 60 runs and was not out. His innings included 5 fours while Alia Riaz remained not out by scoring 19 runs with the help of 4 fours.
