According to data released by the US Centers for Disease Control (CDC), teenage girls in the country are suffering from depression and despair and have frequent suicidal thoughts.
Data was collected for the survey at the end of 2021 on the basis of which this report has been issued.
The survey examined the behavior of the youth since the start of the Corona epidemic.
Research has shown that all teenagers suffer from mental complications, are stressed and have suicidal thoughts.
More than 40 percent of high school students expressed that they were unable to perform daily tasks due to frustration and sadness.
In 2021, most teenage American girls (57 percent) reported feeling constant sadness and hopelessness, compared to 29 percent of boys.
One in three girls have seriously considered suicide.
