Secretary Health formed a 5-member committee on the issue of substandard food in the kitchen of Jinnah Hospital Karachi.
According to the notification, the chairman of the committee will be the Special Secretary Health, the chairman of the Department of Food Science of Karachi University will be a member of the committee.
Other members include Director Sindh Food Authority Karachi, Director Health Services and Chief Drug Inspector Karachi.
The committee will inspect the kitchen of Jinnah Hospital and the food items coming here.
The notification said that the committee will also record the statements of the employees, the committee will send its final report to the health secretary within 7 days.
Secretary Health will send his report to Chief Minister Sindh.
It should be noted that the caretaker chief minister had pointed out the poor food in the kitchen during his visit to Jinnah Hospital yesterday.
