The International Hockey Federation has cited the non-cooperation of the Government of Pakistan and Sports Board, interference in the affairs of the Hockey Federation as the main reasons for withdrawing the hosting of the Olympic Qualifier event from Pakistan.
Among the reasons for withdrawing the host from Pakistan, FIH has expressed serious concerns that the organization of international events requires the cooperation and support of the government, which is provided by the government of Pakistan, the Ministry of Inter-Provincial Coordination and the Pakistan Sports Board. not doing
The International Hockey Federation has said that it is not possible to organize a major event like the Olympic Qualifier without the support of the Government of Pakistan, therefore the hosting of the event is being withdrawn from Pakistan.
