The Saudi Human Space Flight program also includes training two more Saudi female astronauts, Maryam Firdous and Ali Al-Ghamdi, for the mission.

Engineer Abdullah Al-Sawaha, Chairman of the Saudi Space Commission, said that the top leadership is patronizing the astronaut program, which is why it has been possible to advance towards untouched scientific works at the level of space science.
