Pakistan women’s cricket team whitewashed South Africa women in T20 series.
Pakistan Women’s team won by 6 runs after an interesting match in the third T20I.
Batting first, Pakistan Women scored 150 runs for 4 wickets. Sidra Amin and Bisma Maruf played an innings of 39 and 39 runs respectively. Captain Nada Dar scored 36 off 20 balls and Shahwal Zulfikar scored 18 runs.
Chasing the target, the South African women’s team managed to score 144 runs for 5 wickets in the allotted 20 overs.
The captain of the visiting team, Laura Wilvert, played an excellent innings of 72 runs off 50 balls, but she could not save her team from defeat.
Laura Wilwart was adjudged Player of the Match and Player of the Series.
It should be noted that the ODI series between Pakistan and South Africa women’s team will start from September 8.
