The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) has started considering changing the venue of the Asia Cup matches to be held in Colombo.
Indian media say that due to rains and bad weather in Colombo, consideration has been started to change the venue, matches scheduled in Colombo may be moved to Dambulla or Pali.
In this regard, the Asian Cricket Council called a meeting of the member boards in 48 hours.
It should be remembered that the Asia Cup 2023 is being played in Sri Lanka under the hybrid model after the Indian Cricket Board BCCI did not allow its team to go to Pakistan to play.
However, it has been raining for a few days in Colombo, where all the matches and the final of the Asia Cup Super 4 stage will be played.
On the other hand, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has not come out with any position in this regard.
