Irfan Pathan made a scathing comment on social media website X after the high-voltage Group A match in the Asia Cup ended yesterday in Kandy, Sri Lanka due to incessant rain.
He wrote that ‘many neighbors’ TVs were saved today’.
Irfan Pathan’s sarcastic post was slammed by social media users.
“This is a very childish tweet from a former player and a person on the commentary panel of the tournament,” one user wrote.
Another user wrote: ‘This was a very stupid joke.’
